After Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and Akele Hum Akele Tum, there is a very strong possibility that Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan may get together again.
Confirming this possibility, Mansoor told this writer on the eve of Aamir’s birthday, “Yes, there is a possibility. The thing is, my sensibility has gone somewhere else now, and that's fine you know. I'm not underestimating the audience. I have written two books. My second book is the book ‘One: The Story Of The Ultimate Myth’, which I want to convert to a film. Please read it and then you'll see where the difficulty to convert it to a screenplay arises.”
He added, “Aamir loves the book. But I need to sit with him. And work it out. Every time now he's got distracted. What I need is complete concentration. I wrote a second draft of the screenplay, which was more cinematic you know and he had a difference of opinion with me. I'll clean up my plate and from June. I'm totally on this. I clearly told him that if you and I disagree on the screenplay, then I will not do the film.”
Mansoor regrettably had to miss Aamir’s 60th birthday party. “I'm going to miss it because I have some very urgent work. That's sad because he came for my 68th birthday. The whole family. I was going to come. I was hoping to God it's not a big fat Bollywood party,” he said.
