Nawazuddin Siddiqui denies allegations by ex-wife Aaliya, says he has been bearing the expenses of the kids
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife had recently filed for divorce along with the sole custody of their kids, Yanni and Shora. The couple had been going through a rough patch but it looks like things aren’t going to get better. Nawazuddin Sididiqui’s lawyer recently said that Aaliya has been sent a legal notice for defamation and slander of character. Aaliya had claimed that Nawazuddin is an uncaring father and is not supporting them financially due to the crunch.
However, Nawazuddin’s lawyer Adnan says that he had sent the defamation notice within 15 days of her filing for divorce. All her statements have been debunked by Nawazuddin’s lawyer who said that all the EMIs are still being paid by Nawaz and that he is paying for all the expenses of the kids. According to them, Aaliya has stated contrary facts to tip the scale in her favour hence the slander case.
Nawazuddin is currently staying in his hometown, Budhana while his kids are staying with Aaliya in Mumbai.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s cousin MLA Neeraj Kumar Singh expresses displeasure on Dil Bechara’s OTT release
Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise has left his family, friends, and fans shocked to the core. His last film, Dil Bechara is now all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24. The film will be available to everyone including the non-subscribers and the makers have considered this as a way to celebrate the actor that Sushant was. Even though the fans wanted Dil Bechara to be a theatrical release, the makers have decided otherwise. Sushant Singh Rajput’s cousin brother, MLA Neeraj Kumar Singh, has also said that his family is upset with the makers for going ahead with the OTT release.
He spoke to a news channel about the same and said that the film should get a theatrical release since the facility of internet is not provided in some small towns along with other issues. Neeraj further said that fans, especially those in Bihar want to watch Sushant on the big screen. They are planning to speak to the makers about it after the Shraddh ritual takes place. Neeraj also said that this is not a proper shraddhanjali to the late actor and he plans on speaking to the CM of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray.

K-pop group BLACKPINK comes under fire for using Lord Ganesha idol in ‘How You Like That’ music video
Ahead of their first full-length album release, K-pop’s most popular girl group Blackpink, featuring Jisoo, Rose, Jennie, and Lisa, made their highly-awaited comeback with their pre-single release, ‘How You Like That’. The song was dropped a year after their last release, 'Kill This Love'. The song is a blend of hip-hop and EDM beats with grandeur aesthetics and high production music video. But, the music video has come under fire.
After the release of the song on Friday, June 26, Indian fans noticed that the holy idol of Lord Ganesha has been used as an aesthetic in the video. At point 1:30 in the music, the group’s rapper Lisa has been seen sitting in a chair crooning verses. This is when you see the Lord Ganesha’s idol on the left of the video. In India, deities are never placed on the ground and that shoes are not worn in front of them. Lisa is also observed to be wearing shoes.
Lord Ganesha, also known as Vinayaka and Ganpati, is one of the deities in Hindu Pantheon. He is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences, and the god of intellect and wisdom. The 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival in India is celebrated with full enthusiasm and respect.
Since the music video was out, it has received a lot of criticism on social media as the netizens want the label YG Entertainment to apologize. The hashtags like #MyCultureIsNotYourAesthetic and #YGapologise have been trending on Twitter.
The fans have been left concerned as to how a holy deity was used as a prop in the music video. BLINKs, Blackpink’s fandom, decided to mass email the label in order to make them aware of their mistake.

Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Mumbai Police questions two former senior officials of Yash Raj Films
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is currently under investigation. The actor, who passed away on June 14 due to suicide, was under prescribed depression medicines. While over 23 statements have been recorded till now, two former senior officials of Yash Raj Films were questioned by Mumbai Police recently.
Yash Raj Films was summoned to submit contract documents after allegations were made that many of Sushant Singh Rajput’s films didn’t roll. As per the latest details, Bandra Police questioned Ashish Singh, who was former Vice President Production at YRF, and Ashish Patil, whose signatures were on the contract with Sushant Singh Rajput in 2012. Ashish Singh’s statement was recorded for five hours in which he provided details about Sushant’s contract and his association with YRF till 2015.
Ashish Singh spoke to a news channel and stated that he could not reveal the details of the contract. He further said that they parted with Sushant on cordial terms and even remained in touch with him after that. They made two films – Shudh Desi Romance and Detective Byomkesh Bakshi! Ashish further said that some projects don’t work out. He added that Sushant left YRF after years and there were no issues since they remained in touch. He asked everyone to pray for him.
A total of 23 people have recorded their statements during the investigation. His father, his three sisters, rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, friends Mukesh Chhabra and Mahesh Shetty, Siddharth Pithani - his friend and creative content manager; Keshav - his cook, Mohd Shaikh - the keysmith, Shakeel Hussain - the brother of keysmith, Uday Singh Gauri - business manager, Radhika Nihalani - PR manager; Kushal Zaveri - his first TV serial director and now his manager, friend Rohini Iyer, Sanjay Sridhar - Chartered Accountant among others have given their statements.

Ranbir Kapoor awaits the narration of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next
Ranbir Kapoor is one of the finest actors who chooses his projects very carefully. Currently busy with Brahmastra along with his ladylove, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy, Ranbir is also looking at other scripts. Sandeep had been working on an idea recently and had pitched it to Ranbir Kapoor and Murad Khetani and the duo had asked him to work on it. Now, Murad reveals that the script is locked for this gangster-drama and they are waiting for the director to give a detailed narration.

Manushi Chhillar has been roped in by UNICEF India to lend her voice in providing urgent support to children in severe coronavirus crisis that’s plaguing the nation. The ethereal beauty, who is also a former Miss World, has always stood up and done her best for important issues ravaging our country. This time, the gorgeous actress is urging the citizens of India to lend their helping hand towards children in dire need.
Manushi says, “I have been blessed and fortunate enough to have had a safe, healthy and happy childhood. Today I realise the importance of my upbringing that has impacted and shaped my value system, my perspective to the world and people and also made me the person that I’m today.”
She adds, “I’m also deeply disturbed knowing how many children of my country don’t get the childhood that they deserve. The current pandemic is only increasing the threat for them when they are at such an impressionable age. But we can together make a difference.”
