Despite the harrowing ordeal, Dhillon remained steadfast, assuring his fans and loved ones of his safety through a heartfelt social media post.

The incident sent shockwaves through the music industry, with the Lawrence Bishnoi-Rohit Godara gang claiming responsibility and issuing a chilling threat against the singer. The gang cited Dhillon's alleged connections to Bollywood actor Salman Khan as a motive, warning him to "stay within his limits" or face dire consequences.

Dhillon's collaboration with Khan in the music video ‘Old Money’ had seemingly drawn the ire of the criminal organization. However, the singer-songwriter refused to be intimidated, responding to the threats with unwavering courage. In an Instagram post, the singer wrote, “I'm safe. My people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out. Your support means everything. Peace and love to all.”

The eagerly anticipated action film Sikandar, starring Salman Khan, has begun production in Mumbai. With director AR Murugadoss at the helm, the film is set to be a visually stunning and high-octane cinematic experience. The production team has meticulously crafted a massive set replicating the bustling Dharavi slum in Goregaon, Mumbai.

According to a report in Mid-day, Salman Khan is at the heart of Sikandar. The actor has been shooting for the film at the SRPF Ground in Goregaon and a hospital in Marol, where he will be engaged in intense action sequences. Salman remains committed to delivering a powerful performance despite a recent rib injury.

The production team has carefully planned the shooting schedule to accommodate his recovery, focusing on lighter action scenes during his working hours. Body doubles are being utilized for more demanding stunts, ensuring that Salman's health is prioritized while maintaining the film's high production value.

Salman Khan resumes Sikandar shoot despite rib injury; Mumbai sets cost around Rs. 15 crores: Report

The anticipation surrounding Salman Khan's upcoming action entertainer, Sikandar, has reached the fever pitch. Following his rib injury, Salman Khan has resumed the shoot of Sikandar, being helmed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film's ensemble cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar, will also be joining the shoot. Khan is particularly looking forward to the intense action sequences under Murugadoss's direction.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, the film's team has recreated Mumbai locales, including Dharavi and Matunga, on a massive set that has reportedly cost a staggering Rs. 15 crores to construct. A 45-day shooting schedule in Mumbai is currently underway, during which Khan will be performing high-octane action sequences. A source revealed, "The makers have spent a fortune to make the sets look authentic. This is a crucial schedule as we'll be shooting not just action, but also emotional and dramatic scenes."

Following the Mumbai schedule, the team will relocate to a palace in Hyderabad for the next phase of production. A source stated, "We're searching for a palace that adds scale and grandeur to the film. The third schedule will take place around November."

Pre-production for her first feature film has begun, with shooting set to start early next year. The project details are still undisclosed.

Anushka shared her excitement about this new venture, stated, “Producing a feature film has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a family that lives and breathes cinema has inspired me to tell stories that matter. This project is very close to my heart, and I am thrilled to bring it to life. We are currently in the pre-production phase, and the energy and creativity surrounding this project are truly invigorating. As for whether I or my husband, Aditya Seal, will be involved in front of the camera, that’s something we’ll reveal in due time. Sidharth Malhotra abruptly exits action drama Mitti one month before the shoot due to creative differences: Report

A highly anticipated action drama Mitti starring Sidharth Malhotra has been put on hold indefinitely. In June of this year, reports emerged that Malhotra was teaming up with producer Murad Khetani and director Balwinder Singh Janjua for a gritty action film. South Indian actress Sreeleela was also cast in the film. However, recent developments suggest that Malhotra abruptly exited the film just weeks before production was scheduled to begin.

 

As per a report in Peeping Moon, the reasons for his departure remain unclear, citing both creative differences with the director and concerns about the script itself. While some sources suggest Malhotra simply wasn't convinced by the project's direction, others claim his decision may have been influenced by a desire for more creative control on set. There's also speculation that the actor's recent box office struggles may have played a role, potentially making it difficult to secure funding for the film.

Earlier, director Balwinder Singh Janjua had earlier spoken to Bollywood Hungama to offer details about the project's themes. He described it as an "action drama set in Uttarakhand," a story that revolves around "guilt, living with the baggage of guilt." He further elaborated that the film would explore themes of "saving your home and your land, your heritage," emphasizing the importance of family and relationships. Rumors are rife that Malhotra might be attached to an upcoming romantic comedy produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Dasvi filmmaker Tushar Jalota. This project, initially slated to begin filming in late 2023, was reportedly delayed due to budgetary concerns. Now, with Malhotra potentially on board, the film appears to be back on track, with filming potentially commencing in the coming months. The yet-untitled film is expected to be a light-hearted and commercially viable project, a stark contrast to the action drama Malhotra recently departed. While the casting of the female lead hasn't been officially confirmed, reports suggest that Janhvi Kapoor is in talks for the role. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra is also in talks with the makers of Race 4 to join Saif Ali Khan in the new installment. Led by Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan and Krystle D’Souza, the film will arrive on JioCinema.

Sharing the poster on Sunday, Fardeen Khan wrote, “Get ready for the biggest explosion ???? on your screen! #Visfot streaming 6th September onwards, exclusively on JioCinema Premium.” The film will be released directly on digital, two years after the project was wrapped.

Back in June 2024, Bollywood Hungama reported that the film will have a direct-to-OTT release. A trade source said, “Visfot has been bought by Jio Cinema and it is expected to be out very soon. It is produced by Sanjay Gupta whose directorial venture The Miranda Brothers will also release on the streaming giant. Visfot, however, will be released first on Jio Cinema followed by The Miranda Brothers.”

It is directed by Kookie Gulati and also produced by Bhushan Kumar. It is an official remake of the 2012 Venezuelan film, Rock, Paper, Scissors and as per reports, Riteish plays a pilot whose son gets kidnapped by Fardeen’s character. R Madhavan rejects lucrative paan masala brand deal: Report

R Madhavan, a renowned Bollywood actor, has reportedly turned down a significant brand endorsement deal with a paan masala brand. The actor was offered a substantial financial incentive to become their brand ambassador, but he declined the offer, as per a report by Exchange 4 Media.
