The international publication released both the cover image and an inside photo, showcasing the majestic presence of Rekha adorned with exquisite diamonds and precious stones, striking a pose for the camera. Following this, Zeenat Aman, a close friend and actress, expressed her admiration for Rekha by sharing a heartfelt message on her social media account.

On Tuesday, Zeenat took to her Instagram Story and shared the cover featuring Rekha. On the cover image, Rekha showcased her style by donning a turban, while the inside picture captured her iconic look with the prominent display of sindoor (vermilion) on her forehead, complementing her elegant golden saree. Despite nearing her 69th birthday, the veteran actress effortlessly captivated the camera with her intense gaze. Sharing the picture, Zeenat wrote, “My stunning friend Rekha on the cover of @voguearabia. She’s not on Instagram, so I thought I would share it on her behalf.”

Talking about her career to the magazine, Rekha said, “Whether I make films or not, it never leaves me. I have my memories to relive what I love. And when the time is right, the right project will find me.”

Talking about Zeenat Aman, she is an Indian actress and a former model. The Evil Within (1970), starring Dev Anand, marked the former beauty queen's acting debut. She has acted in films like Yaadon Ki Baarat, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Qurbani, Dharam Veer, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Insaaf Ka Tarazu among others.

Karan Johar rejected featuring Shah Rukh Khan in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani: Report

Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar share a longstanding and deep friendship that has endured over a significant period of time. Throughout their association, Shah Rukh Khan has been a constant presence in nearly all of Karan Johar's directorial projects, showcasing their strong professional collaboration and personal bond. However, when it came to the film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his eagerness and willingness to participate in the project, offering his services to Karan Johar. Given their history of successful collaborations, it seemed natural for Shah Rukh Khan to be a part of this upcoming venture.

According to a source close to Karan Johar, who spoke to Koimoi, Karan made the decision not to include Shah Rukh Khan in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani as a mere cameo. The source said, “Karan Johar just didn’t want SRK to make an appearance for appearance’s sake. It had to have some relevance to the plot. But this time, he just didn’t fit in anywhere in the story.”

The source revealed that Shah Rukh Khan had extended his services to Karan Johar and said, “He reminded Karan that he is Karan’s lucky mascot. But Karan reminded SRK that he did not want Shah to pop in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and vanish quickly. SRK’s fans would have protested.”

BREAKING: Chandu Champion to release on Bakri Eid 2024; Kartik Aaryan and Sajid Nadiadwala block the date of 14 June 2024

Bollywood Hungama was the first to break the news that Kabir Khan and Kartik Aaryan's next produced by Sajid Nadiadwala has been titled Chandu Champion. The film is a one of its kind sports drama, that celebrates human spirit like never before. The film rides on prolonged dramatic sequences and is said to be among Kabir's most ambitious films to date. We also reported that the film will hit the big screen in the month of June.

And now, we are exclusively reporting that the Chandu Champion team has blocked the Bakri Eid 2024 weekend for the film's release. According to sources close to the development, after Satyaprem Ki Katha, Sajid and Kartik want to bring another film on Bakri Eid. "Kabir Khan is synonymous with Eid with blockbusters like Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. This time around, he will come with his next on Bakri Eid weekend. It's a lucky date for all the stakeholders, and the hope is on the holiday to benefit the film and its collections. The movie will be released on June 14," a source told Bollywood Hungama.

The makers will be shooting for this epic sports drama over the next 6 months and get it ready for a June 2024 release in the cinema halls. "Though the film is a sports drama on the outlook of things, there are many elements that require good vfx time, and hence, Kabir will be keeping a good amount of time for the post-production. Both Kabir and Sajid are confident that the film will be a landmark in their career."

Chandu Champion is led by Kartik Aaryan and the other cast members have been kept under wraps for now. It is Sajid Nadiadwala's next theatrical release after Satyaprem Ki Katha.

Shah Rukh Khan undergoes minor nose surgery after suffering an injury in the US

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently underwent a minor nose surgery after he reportedly suffered an injury while shooting a project in Los Angeles, US. The actor is back in India and is now recovering.

As per a report in Etimes, a source informed, “SRK was shooting in Los Angeles for a project and he ended up hurting his nose. He began bleeding and was immediately rushed to a hospital. His team was informed by the doctors that there was nothing to worry and that King Khan would need to undergo a minor surgery to stop the bleeding. Post the operation, SRK was spotted with a bandage on his nose.”

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will next star in Atlee’s Jawan, set for September 7 release in theatres. The teaser arrives on July 7, 2023. The actor stars alongside Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. The teaser prints will be attached to Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Ajay Devgn purchased 5 office units worth whopping Rs. 45 crore in Mumbai

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has made massige purchases. He has bought five office units in Mumbai's Andheri West which are worth Rs. 45 crore. As per the documents accessed by a data analytics form CRE Matrix, the office units are located within Signature Building, Oshiwara and Veera Desai Road.

The documents reveal that the office units cover a total area of 13,293 square feet. As per a report in Money Control, three units are located on the 16th floor. They are worth Rs. 30.35 crore, and the actor paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.82 crore for the built-up area of 8,405 square feet.

Apart from that, two office units are located on the 17th floor and are worth Rs. 14.74 crore. The built-up area is spread across 4,893 square feet. The properties were registered under the name Vishal (Ajay) Virendra Devgan.

Sidharth Malhotra starrer Yodha postponed; to now release on December 15 2023

Another Bollywood movie has been postponed. An array of announcements were made on Monday, July 3 and among them was Yodha which will now release in December 2023. The film starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead, which was scheduled for October 27 release, will hit the screens on December 15, 2023. The film is an action saga directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.

Dharma Productions, on July 3rd, tweeted, "Re-fueled and ready to soar! #YODHA - the first action film of the franchise headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha - lands in cinemas on 15th DECEMBER, 2023. The film also stars Disha Patani & Raashii Khanna in lead roles."

Sidharth had earlier said in a statement, “As an artist, you would want to work on scripts that bring out the best in you. This truly unveiled a newer version of me, which I am very thankful for. Raashii had also mentioned, “[Initially] I thought only certain people got to be a Dharma heroine. I didn't think it was easy for people who come from outside to bag such films. So, the fact that I am in this film, opens doors for others. You don't necessarily have to be a part of a certain background to be a part of a Dharma film. Work so hard on your skill set that your talent cannot be dismissed.”

Carry On Jatta 3 accused of hurting religious sentiments; Shiv Sena Hind leaders file complaint

Carry On Jatta 3, a Punjabi comedy film, has been accused of hurting religious sentiments by a group of Shiv Sena leaders. The complaint was filed at the Jalandhar police station by Ishant Sharma, president of the Youth committee of Shiv Sena Hind, and Sunil Kumar Bunty, chairman of Punjab Shiv Sena (Taksali). The leaders alleged that a scene in the film shows a Hindu priest being humiliated. They say that the scene is derogatory and disrespectful to the Hindu religion. 

Bunty told ANI, “We filed a complaint on behalf of Shiv Sena Hind. In the film Carry On Jatta 3, which is aimed at Hindus, a Brahmin who is seen performing Havan rituals is humiliated in a scene. Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon and Gurpreet Ghuggi have violated the faith of millions of Hindus by throwing water on the ‘Havan Kund’. Because in Hindu religion if any ritual has to be done, then ‘Havan’ is performed first.”

Explaining further, he added, “So, today, we have filed a complaint against all of them and demanded that section 295 be imposed on them for hurting religious sentiments. And if an attempt is made by them to spoil the atmosphere in Punjab, for that, Section 153 should be imposed.”

Sunil continued, “These individuals attempt to increase their TRP by targeting the Hindu religion. They would have destroyed or set the theatre on fire if this had happened to another caste. Hinduism is a very soft religion. That’s why we went to the government first. If they won’t act within 24 hours, then the director Kang and Gurpreet Ghuggi’s house is in Jalandhar only. We will be protesting outside their homes.”

Meanwhile, Ishant Sharma asserted, “We saw the full film after people sent us the clip, and we came forward today. Our hearts are hurt, that's why we came here to complain,” in a conversation with ANI. On the other hand, neither the makers nor the actors have reacted to the controversy, as of now.
