The actress’ recent appearance at the Lakme India Fashion Week in Mumbai has triggered a controversy where a man named Eklavya Singh, who is a member of the Hind Rakshak Sangathan and son of BJP MLA Malini Gaur, has filed a complaint against the actress for her look at the prestigious fashion show. In the complaint, Singh has alleged that Taapsee Pannu wore a revealing outfit while adorning temple jewellery with Goddess Laxmi’s statue in the locket. An official was quoted in ANI reports, opening up about the complaint registered against the actress saying, “We received a complaint from Eklavya Gaur (son of BJP MLA Malini Gaur) against actor Taapsee Pannu for hurting religious sentiments and image of ‘Sanatan Dharma’ by wearing a locket having ‘Goddess Laxmi’ with revealing dress during ramp walk at Lakme Fashion Week held on March 12 in Mumbai.” The officials have asserted that investigation of the matter in currently in process. The gown featured a plunging neckline and the actress paired up the modern outfit with a statement neckpiece featuring the Goddess Lakshmi idol. Shiv Thakare opens up about a casting couch experience where he was being taken to a ‘massage center’

From being a simple guy from Amravati to now a popular reality show star, Shiv Thakare has been making his slow yet steady way into the world of Indian entertainment industry. But the former Bigg Boss contestant has definitely faced his fair share of struggles and Thakare, recently opened up about casting couch experiences, which has been a prominent challenge in this industry. He recalled a meeting with a casting director, where he was taken to a ‘massage centre’. In the past, many celebrities have opened up about #MeToo and casting couch experiences, which according to many, is quite rampant in the industry. Revealing about one such incident, Shiv Thakare said that how once the casting director had invited him to a ‘massage center’ after his audition. The reality show star recalled the experience in a Hindustan Times report, saying, "I once went for an audition in Aram Nagar, and he took me to the bathroom and said, ‘Yaha pe massage centre hai’. I didn’t get the connection between an audition and a massage centre. He told me, ‘Ek baar aap aao yaha audition ke baad. Aap workout bhi karte ho...’ I just left the place, since he was a casting director and I didn’t want to take any pangas. I am no Salman Khan.” Besides that, he also remembered yet another incident where a woman invited him to audition for a role at 11pm. Although he didn’t quite like the sound of it, and refused to meet her at an odd time, he revealed in the interview, “Itna bhola toh nahi hoon main ki (I am not that naïve that) I won’t understand what auditions happen at night. So, I told her that I have some work and I cannot make it. To this, she said, ‘Kaam Nahi karna? (don’t you wanna work?)’ ‘You won’t get work in the industry’ and other such things.” He further went on to add how these people would ‘demotivate’ and ‘manipulate’ strugglers in order to get what they want. Pathaan director Siddharth Anand opens up on ‘Besharam Rang’ controversy; says he chose orange bikini “randomly”

The ‘Besharam Rang’ controversy arose when a few fringe groups called for a boycott of the film Pathaan after objections were raised over the colour of Deepika Padukone's bikini in the song. Many demanded that the song be removed or the colour of the costume be changed. However, the makers did not make any changes, and the film was eventually released to positive reviews from the audience. Speaking of the same, director Siddharth Anand shared the story behind choosing an orange colour bikini. It all happened during the News18 Rising India summit 2023. While addressing the issue, Siddharth stated that he chose the costume “randomly” and “never gave it too much thought.” He asserted, “The colour was looking nice. It was sunny, the grass was greener and the water was blue and the orange colour was looking good.” Anand further explained, “We thought when the audience would watch it they would understand that our intent was not wrong.” As he continued, Siddharth mentioned that “they were not scared” while calling the boycott “white noise.” He was quoted saying, “We knew that there was nothing objectionable in our film.” According to Siddharth, he would not hold the audience accountable for their initial reaction to the controversy since they had not seen the film at that point. He expressed gratitude for the audience's overwhelming response to the film, stating that they had shown great support by flocking to theatres to watch it. Concluding his take, the 44-year-old director said, “They (the audience) proved the whole boycott movement wrong. And when you are calling for a boycott of a star or a movie, you are not seeing how many people’s livelihood is dependent on that particular movie especially if it works. At least three hundred people work on a film every day. And when the shoot gets over so many VFX artists work on the post-production. Ayan Mukerji says Brahmastra 2 and 3 will be shot simultaneously, sequel to release in 2026: ‘We will write it better without comprising it’

Following years of wait and much anticipation, Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva starring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Alia Bhatt released in the theatres on September 9, 2022. While the visual spectacle collected Rs. 257.44 cr in India, the film is the first installment in the Ayan Mukerji-directed trilogy. The director has now revealed that they plan to shoot the sequels simultaneously with an aim to release the second part in 2026. At the News18 Rising India summit in New Delhi, Ayan Mukerji said, “We will make Brahmastra 2 and 3 together. The truth is we are going to take a little bit of time to write it. I know there’s a lot of anticipation.” He added, “People want the (second part of the film) film to come out. But pehle achchi tarah se likhenge without compromising it. I think it will be about three years from now before we see Brahmastra 2 on the big screen." While Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva might have been successful at the box office, it did draw criticism for its weak dialogues which were penned by Hussain Dalal. The filmmaker acknowledged the criticism by saying, “We did get some mixed reactions. We still did really good numbers. A lot of people accepted our film. It also did well when it came out on streaming (platform). It’s probably the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022. But I still hear that criticism very clearly.” He further said, “The thing is I accept and agree with some of it. Some of that criticism came down to some aspects related to the writing and story of Brahmastra. I want to understand these things and make part two better.” Brahmastra also had a cameo of Shah Rukh Khan, with Mouni Roy playing the antagonist. Salman Khan Threat Case: Dhakad Ram Bishnoi arrested in Jodhpur by Mumbai Police

Over a week ago, Bollywood actor Salman Khan's security was beefed up by the Mumbai Police after one of his associates, Jordy Patel, received a threat via an email. His close friend Prashant Gunjalkar filed a complaint regarding the same and a case was registered at the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar and a person named Rohit Garg under IPC sections 506(2),120(b) & 34. Now, Mumbai Police has arrested a man named Dhakad Ram Bishnoi in Jodhpur in connection with the email threatening case. As per reports, Dhakad Ram Bishnoi (21) is a resident of Siyagon ki Dhani in Rohicha Kalan village in Jodhpur. He was reportedly out on bail under the Arms Act. Gaurav Yadav, Jodhpur’s DCP (West), said that a team from Mumbai’s Bandra Police had arrived to arrest him. “They asked us to assist them in detaining Bishnoi. We provided them with the support and handed Bishnoi over to the Mumbai PoliceYadav said, as reported by PTI on Sunday. "After a detailed technical investigation into the case, police got information about the accused person's whereabouts, following which a team was sent to Rajasthan and the man was apprehended," a police official said. According to a previous report in PTI, a police official said that “two Assistant Police Inspector (API)-rank officers and eight to ten constables will be part of Khan's security detail round the clock.” The official also added that fans won’t be allowed to assemble outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra. It was earlier reported that Y-plus security has been provided to Salman Khan by the police. He will also travel in bullet-proof car with his personal security detail. Additional security measures have also been given to the actor. As per reports, a person named Rohit Garg allegedly issued the threat and mentioned Goldy Brar, Canadian gangster's name, saying the latter wants to meet the actor in person. Recently, Lawrence Bishnoi also allegedly said that killing Salman is his life's goal. In a recent report shared by ABP News, Bishnoi was quoted saying, “There is anger in our society for Salman Khan. He humiliated my society. A case was filed against him but he did not apologize. If he does not tender an apology, be ready to face the consequences. I will not depend on anyone else.” He went on to add that he has been harboring the feeling of hatred ever since childhood. Bishnoi continued, “Will break his ego sooner or later. He should come to our deity’s temple and apologize. REVEALED: Yash Raj Films earns Rs. 115 crores as net profit on an operating income of Rs 614 crores in FY 2021-22; FY 2022-23’s profit to be HIGHER thanks to Pathaan’s BLOCKBUSTER success

Some significant films from Bollywood haven’t worked in recent times. But thanks to the blockbuster success of Pathaan, the industry is able to breathe easy for the time being. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, this Yash Raj Films (YRF) production broke several records and is now the biggest Hindi grosser ever, crossing the collections of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion (2017). And recently, YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani shared some interesting details about how the company’s fortunes changed thanks to Pathaan. In an interaction with The Economic Times, Akshaye Widhani said that in terms of revenue, FY 2023-24 will be bigger than FY 2019-20 and 2021-22 for YRF. He also confessed that the Spy Universe has become a precious IP for them and that it is India’s biggest franchise. The Spy Universe’s first film was Ek Tha Tiger (2012), starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The same star cast was repeated in Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Then, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff were seen in War (2019). All these aforementioned films were huge blockbusters in cinemas. Pathaan meanwhile was a one-of-its-kind Spy Universe film as it also featured Salman Khan as Tiger. The Economic Times article also mentions that as per an Acuite Ratings report, Yash Raj Films in FY 2019-20 recorded a net profit of Rs. 61 crores on operating income of Rs. 614 crores. In FY 2021-22, it had a net profit of Rs. 115 crores on an operating income of Rs 614 crores. Pathaan meanwhile has already collected more than Rs. 1000 crores globally. And this year, YRF is scheduled to have two more releases – Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, and The Great Indian Family, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar. Tiger 3 will release on Diwali 2023 and will have a special appearance of Shah Rukh Khan, reprising his role of Pathaan. And that’s not all. Akshaye Widhani, in interaction with Variety, has admitted that they are looking to now release Pathaan in China, Japan and Latin America. Bombay HC rules in favour of Salman Khan and his bodyguard; quashes complaint in journalist ‘assault’ case

In March 2022, the Andheri Magistrate Court had issued a summons to Salman Khan and his bodyguard Nawaz Shaikh after a journalist filed a complaint against the actor in 2019 accusing the actor of misbehaving with him. It was later challenged in the High Court. As per the latest update in the case,  the Bombay High Court, on Thursday, quashed the private case. A single-judge bench of Justice Bharati H Dangre had concluded the hearing. The single bench also reserved its orders in the plea by Salman Khan and his bodyguard on March 21. Dangre said, “Let people have their own privacy, Whether it is an actor, lawyer or judge. None of you is above the law. Neither an actor nor a press person. Even they are bound to follow the law,” during the hearing. Meanwhile, the actor's lawyer, senior counsel Aabad Ponda, claimed that the journalist's words and stance had significantly improved. Bombay High Court ordered to quash the FIR registered against actor Salman Khan, in the case of assault and misbehaviour with a journalist in 2019. For the unversed, a journalist had claimed that he along with a camera person, tried to film Khan when the actor was cycling. In his complaint, he alleged that though he had the bodyguards’ permission, they allegedly manhandled him and snatched his phone after Khan objected to being photographed. He also alleged that the D N Nagar police had refused to file a complaint, after which he filed a private complaint before the magistrate, seeking criminal action against the actor and his bodyguard. On April 5 of last year, the high court issued a stay of the proceedings, which it upheld intermittently. Sharing more about the film, Bhagchandka said in a statement, “Champions is not an out and out sports film. It has a human-interest story against the backdrop of sports.” The film is the official remake of the 2018 Spanish film Campeones (English title: Champions). “We saw the film at the Berlin Film Festival and we really liked what we saw. It’s about the individual challenges of the differently abled and how they are living their lives. There are also a lot of heart-warming and humorous moments in the film and that’s essentially what we liked most about the film,” added Bhagchandka. He also said that they will reveal the cast of the film at a later date. Apart from Champions, Bhagchandka has a series of other projects lined up under his banner 200 NOTOUT. The name of the banner is dedicated to Tendulkar’s highest score of 200 not out in one-day internationals. He is the first batter to achieve the feat. One of his other upcoming projects is the film adaptation of George McCutcheon’s 1902 book Brewster’s Millions. Speaking about this and few other projects, Bhagchandka added, “We have already examined various drafts of the script; it’s shaping up well and we should be able to kick that off soon. Apart from this, we are planning a political thriller web series based on one of Ashwin Sanghi’s best-selling books. In the pipeline is another riveting film adaptation of the Argentinian bestseller novel, All Yours. This film is a co-production with Sagarika Ghatge Khan and is set to be directed by Kanishk Varma of Inside Edge series fame. Bhumi Pednekar on her role as UNDP's First National Advocate, “I hope all the work I do goes towards making the world more equal in many ways”

Last week, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) announced Bollywood star and a passionate Climate Warrior Bhumi Pednekar as their first National Advocate for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a National Advocate, Bhumi will support UNDP India's efforts to raise awareness and mobilize support for the SDGs, a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. Bhumi made her first appearance in her new role at the launch of the flagship magazine, Inspiring India. The second edition of the magazine is a tribute to the exceptional women of this country and their indomitable spirit to challenge the status quo, shatter stereotypes and make change happen. Om Raut and Bhushan Kumar visit Vaishno Devi to seek blessings for Adipurush

Filmmaker Om Raut and producer Bhushan Kumar recently visited the holy Vaishno Devi temple on the occasion of Navratri and to seek blessings for their upcoming keenly awaited film Adipurush, which stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. For the unversed, Vaishno Devi is one of the foremost pilgrimage sites in India, situated in Jammu and Kashmir. Sharing more about the visit, a statement from the makers said, “Remarking the creation of universe and beginning of the world by Maa Shri Durga, Chaitra Navratri holds immense significance in the Hindu culture! Nawazuddin Siddiqui files Rs. 100 crore defamation case against his brother and estranged wife

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has moved the court for defaming and maligning his image and has filed a defamation suit against Shamas Nawab Siddiqui and former wife Aaliya Siddiqui seeking damages of Rs. 100 crores. As per current reports, the hearing will be held on March 30 by Justice RI Chagla. The suit has come after several allegations were thrown against the Kick actor after his wife accused the Siddiqui family of harassment and torture. In his suit, the actor has alleged that the allegations thrown towards him has affected his public image. In the suit that has been filed through advocate Sunil Kumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has alleged that he is unable to make any kind of appearances or attend social gatherings owing to the many accusations thrown towards him. He has alleged that these ‘misleading claims’ have impacted his career and hence, he has also requested the court to pass an order of injunction to restrict his brother and estranged wife Anjana Pandey alias Aaliya Siddiqui from making any more defamatory comments against him, along with a request added for taking down the already existing remarks and statements against him. Furthermore, in the same suit, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has also alleged that his brother has committed several fraudulent transactions which has resulted in major monetary loss for the actor. The actor has further alleged that due to misappropriation of funds, the actor currently owes a whopping amount of Rs. 37 crores to the government, after his brother failed to make some major payments. Furthermore, he has also accused his wife Aaliya Siddiqui of being an accomplice to his brother and misappropriating Rs. 21 crores. As per the given report, when Nawazuddin confronted his brother regarding the missing funds, the latter is claimed to have ‘instigated’ Nawaz’s estranged wife against the Siddiqui family, which led to her alleging that how her in-laws tortured and harassed her. Salman Khan Threat Case: Dhakad Ram Bishnoi arrested in Jodhpur by Mumbai Police

Over a week ago, Bollywood actor Salman Khan's security was beefed up by the Mumbai Police after one of his associates, Jordy Patel, received a threat via an email. His close friend Prashant Gunjalkar filed a complaint regarding the same and a case was registered at the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar and a person named Rohit Garg under IPC sections 506(2),120(b) & 34. Now, Mumbai Police has arrested a man named Dhakad Ram Bishnoi in Jodhpur in connection with the email threatening case. As per reports, Dhakad Ram Bishnoi (21) is a resident of Siyagon ki Dhani in Rohicha Kalan village in Jodhpur. He was reportedly out on bail under the Arms Act. Gaurav Yadav, Jodhpur’s DCP (West), said that a team from Mumbai’s Bandra Police had arrived to arrest him. “They asked us to assist them in detaining Bishnoi. We provided them with the support and handed Bishnoi over to the Mumbai PoliceYadav said, as reported by PTI on Sunday. "After a detailed technical investigation into the case, police got information about the accused person's whereabouts, following which a team was sent to Rajasthan and the man was apprehended," a police official said. According to a previous report in PTI, a police official said that “two Assistant Police Inspector (API)-rank officers and eight to ten constables will be part of Khan's security detail round the clock.” The official also added that fans won’t be allowed to assemble outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra. It was earlier reported that Y-plus security has been provided to Salman Khan by the police. He will also travel in bullet-proof car with his personal security detail. Additional security measures have also been given to the actor. As per reports, a person named Rohit Garg allegedly issued the threat and mentioned Goldy Brar, Canadian gangster's name, saying the latter wants to meet the actor in person. Recently, Lawrence Bishnoi also allegedly said that killing Salman is his life's goal. In a recent report shared by ABP News, Bishnoi was quoted saying, “There is anger in our society for Salman Khan. He humiliated my society. A case was filed against him but he did not apologize. If he does not tender an apology, be ready to face the consequences. I will not depend on anyone else.” He went on to add that he has been harboring the feeling of hatred ever since childhood. Bishnoi continued, “Will break his ego sooner or later. He should come to our deity’s temple and apologize. Salman Khan brings Pooja Hegde in place of Kareena Kapoor Khan in Pavan Putra

Released in 2015, Bajrangi Bhaijaan not only became one of the biggest hits but also a film that found mass acceptance. Starring Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and child actress Harshali Malhotra, the film about the unusual bond between a simpleton Indian and a little Pakistani girl moved hearts. Last year, fans of Salman Khan had a moment of rejoice when the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan titled Pavan Putra was announced. The thought of seeing their favourite star essay the same role again was reason enough to excite them. But there was no update on the project following the announcement. But now, Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Salman has brought Pooja Hegde on board for Pavan Putra. In other words, the film will see her replacing Kareena Kapoor. Whether Pooja will play the same character that Kareena played in the first film is not known yet. Sonu Nigam’s father robbed of Rs. 72 lakh, FIR registered against ex-driver

Sonu Nigam’s father Agamkumar Nigam has filed an FIR (First Information Report) against his former driver for allegedly stealing Rs. 72 lakh from his residence in Mumbai. The singer's father lives at Windsor Grand building in Oshiwara, Andheri west. The alleged robbery took between March 19 and March 20. The FIR was registered by Sonu Nigam's sister Nikita who reached Oshiwara police station in the wee hours of Wednesday. As per the complaint, Agamkumar Nigam has a driver named Rehan for 8 months but was sacked from the job after his performance was unsatisfactory, as told by an official. As per a report in PTI, an official said that Agamkumar visited Nikita's home in the Versova area on March 19 for lunch. He was back at his residence after sometime. He called his daughter in the evening to inform her that “Rs 40 lakh was missing from a digital locker kept in a wooden cupboard.” Agamkumar Nigam visited his son's house the next day at 7 Bungalows for visa-related work. He returned home later that evening to find out Rs. 32 lakh were missing from the locker and that it wasn't damaged. As per the report, the official added, “Agamkumar and Nikita checked the CCTV footage of his society which showed his former driver Rehan going towards his flat with a bag on both days when he was away. Agamkumar suspects Rehan entered his flat with the help of a duplicate key and stole Rs. 72 lakh from the digital locker in the bedroom.” An FIR has been filed under the Indian Penal Code sections 380, 454 and 457 for robbery and trespassing. Akshay Kumar’s remake of Soorarai Pottru to release on September 1

The release date of the Akshay Kumar, Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal starrer Hindi remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru is out. The Sudha Kongara directorial venture will be releasing in theatres on September 1 this year. Produced by Abundantia Entertainment and 2D Entertainment, the yet untitled film is tentatively called Production No. 27. Released in November 2020, Soorarai Pottru starred Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal and Mohan Babu, among others. The film was also helmed by Sudha Kongara. The Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru went on floors in April 2022 in an auspicious way through the breaking of a coconut by Radhika. The video of the same was shared by Akshay back then. He had also asked his fans to suggest a title for the film. “With the auspicious coconut-breaking and a small prayer in our heart, we begin the filming of our yet untitled film which is about dreams and the power of it ???? The World Television Premiere of Drishyam 2 co-presented by Kia Motors, co-powered by Cadbury Fuse, special partner Club Mahindra and Parle Smoodh Lassi in association with Ramdev Strong Hing and Acko General Insurance will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 8 pm on Viacom18's movie channel, Colors Cineplex. Mumbai police take action against gangsters Bishnoi and others for threatening Salman Khan

Not too long ago, there were reports of how Lawrence Bishnoi threatened Salman Khan and told the superstar to apologize to his community after the actor was accused of killing a blackbuck during the shoot of Hum Saath Saath Hain. Now, adding further, a staff member of the Sultan actor’s team has found a threatening letter asking Salman to have a talk with Canadian gangster Goldie Brar, in an email that was sent by a certain Rohit Garg. Salman Khan’s manager Prashant Gunjalkar came across the email last week, which Khan had received from a certain Rohit Garg who asked the superstar to have an interaction with Goldie Garg in order to resolve his issues with Lawrence Bishnoi. Furthermore, the email was reportedly said to have been written under the presumption that Salman Khan witnessed the interview that was given by Bishnoi recently. It had the gangster threatening to kill the superstar, if he didn’t apologize for allegedly killing a blackbuck. For the unversed, the blackbuck killing case that can be traced to the late 90s, witnessed serious allegations against the superstar for allegedly hunting a rare species, which is also considered to be sacred among the Bishnoi community. Followed by the threatening email, on Saturday night, Gunjalkar contacted the Mumbai police and registered a complaint against the three names. As per a statement reportedly given by an official in Bandra police station, the authorities have taken serious cognisance of this threat, followed by which they increased the security for the superstar. And besides that, they also registered a complaint under sections 12(B) and 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code, which includes charges of criminal conspiracy and intimidation. Lawrence Bishnoi is currently in Tihar jail, facing charges of murdering popular Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala. Kangana Ranaut reveals she wanted to launch restaurant last year; says couldn't do it due to “financial setbacks”

Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again to clash with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on Diwali 2024

After the first two instalments turning out to be successful, there is keen interest for the third part of Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Singham Again. The makers yesterday revealed that the film will be going on floors in July 2023 and release during Diwali 2024. Salman Yusuff Khan shares a “disturbing” event; claims Bengaluru immigration officer harassed him for not knowing Kannada, watch

Actor-choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan, on Wednesday, took to his social media handle and dropped a video alleging that he was harassed and asked to speak in Kannada by an immigration officer at the Bengaluru international airport. Salman went on his Instagram Live to narrate the “disturbing” incident where he felt harassed by the officer. Along with the video, he shared the details of the incident in the caption as well. He tagged Kempegowda International Airport and wrote, “On my way to Dubai and I meet this immigration officer who speaks to me in Kannada .. and I in my broken Kannada try to tell him that I understand the language but can’t speak so well to which he continues to speak in Kannada and shows me my passport and points out my name and my birthplace and my father’s name and his birthplace and has the audacity to tell me that .. you and your father are born in Bangalore and u can’t speak Kannada.” The dancer-choreographer also added that when he tried to defend himself saying that he can speak Hindi instead, the officer still insisted that he could “suspect” Salman “for anything”. Shortly after Allu’s refusal, the makers went to Sanju Baba, and now he has agreed to do this role for SRK." Ranbir Kapoor confirms Ayan Mukerji is writing Brahmastra 2 and 3; expected to go on floors by 2023 end

Bollywood Ranbir Kapoor has been busy promoting Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The film, released in theatres today on the occasion of Holi, marks his return to the romantic comedy genre after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The film stars Shraddha Kapoor and is helmed by Luv Ranjan. However, he hasn't signed any project apart from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal and Brahmastra sequels by Ayan Mukerji. The actor says that Ayan is already writing the sequel and the project is expected to go on floors by year end. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Ranbir Kapoor shared, "We have to make Brahmastra 2 and 3. Ayan (Mukerji, director) is writing the film right now and hopefully, we will start it by the end of this year or next year." REVEALED: Shah Rukh Khan was TAKEN ABACK when he saw the trespassing duo in his make-up room; Mannat’s staff provided them first-aid for their injuries before handing them to the police

Last week, reports came in that two youths sneaked into Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic bungalow Mannat. They were later caught and handed over to the police. Now, reports have emerged that the teenagers had remained hidden in one of the rooms in the bungalow and had given Shah Rukh Khan the shock of his life. As per a report in The Times Of India, the names of these trespassers are Pathan Sahil Salim Khan, aged 18, and Ram Khushuva, aged 19. While the former is a labourer, the latter is a vegetable seller. Both belong to Bharuch, Gujarat and they came to Mumbai on March 1 to see Shah Rukh Khan. On March 2, at 3:00 am, they reached Mannat and taking advantage of the scaffolding erected for repairs, they jumped inside the bungalow. The report further states that they entered the make-up room and remained there till 10:30 am. This is when Shah Rukh Khan entered this room and saw the duo. As expected, the superstar was left shocked and he immediately called a staffperson from his housekeeping team. They were handed to the security team and later were taken away by the police. The police kept them in their custody for a day and realized that they were no evidence of malicious intent. On Saturday, March 4, their parents arrived in Mumbai and secured their bail. A payment of Rs. 20,000 was done to release them from police custody. The parents claimed that they had no idea about the plans of the duo to come to Mumbai. Meawhile, the report claimed that Pathan Sahil Salim Khan and Ram Khushuva suffered minor injuries on their nose while scaling the compound wall of Mannat. Ranbir Kapoor had recently said that he was keen to work with filmmaker Luv Ranjan after he saw the latter’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. His wish finally came true with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which is all set to release day after tomorrow in cinemas. The romantic comedy sees him cast opposite Shraddha Kapoor for the first time. But Bollywood Hungama has learnt that even before that film hits the screens, Luv has offered two more films to Ranbir. One of the two projects is the keenly looked forward biopic of the former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly. The film has been in the news ever since it was announced in 2021. Ranbir also recently said that he is keen to don the role of the cricketer who is nicknamed Dada. Luv, however, won’t be directing the film, which is in the developmental stage right now. Ranbir Kapoor denies being approached for Dhoom 4, Ramayana; says will take a break after Animal to spend time with newborn daughter Raha

Tunisha Sharma death case: Sheezan Khan talks about Ali Baba co-star after stepping out of jail; says, “she would have fought for me”

On December 24, actress Tunisha Sharma died of suicide on the sets of SAB TV’s popular show Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul. A day after Tunisha’s untimely demise, Tunisha's mother lodged an abetment to suicide complaint against Sheezan Khan, who was Tunisha’s co-star as well as her ex-boyfriend. She was, reportedly, depressed about her breakup with Sheezan. Thus on December 25, he was arrested and now after being in jail for nearly 70 days, Sheezan finally stepped out and spoke about the matter. In an interview with Times of India, Sheezan asserted, “Today, I understand the true meaning of freedom and I can feel it. I was in tears the moment I saw my mother and sisters and I am so happy to be back with them.” He further added, “Finally, I am with my family! It’s an overwhelming feeling. All I want to do for a few days is lie in my mother’s lap, eat food cooked by her, and spend time with my sisters and brother. When asked about Tunisha, with whom he broke up 15 days before she passed away, Khan said, “I miss her and if she was alive, she would have fought for me.” Meanwhile, Sheezan’s sister Falaq Naaz said, “We are happy that he is back. We will need some time to process this. Sheezan is finally out, and we are grateful to everyone who stood by us.” Giving the details of the next hearing, Sheezan’s lawyer stated, “It’s nice to see the family together after more than two months. Nawazuddin Siddiqui BREAKS his silence on allegations made by Aaliya Siddiqui; pens a long note clarifying his stand

For the past couple of months, Aaliya Siddiqui has been waging a battle against her alleged former in-laws as well as husband-actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Her accusations included assault and even charged him with rape as well as alleged that he has been a bad father to their children. My kids have been made hostage for past 45 days & are missing their schooling in Dubai. In the next page, he continued about her allegations adding, “She had abandoned the kids in Dubai for last 4 months before calling them here on pretext of demanding money. On an average, she is been paid approx 10 Lakhs per month for past 2 years and 5-7 lakhs per month before moving to Dubai with my children, excluding the school fees, medical, travel and other leisure activities. I have also financed her 3 films costing me crores of rupees, just to help her set up her income stream, since she is the mother of my kids. She was given luxurious cars for my kids, but she sold them and spent the money on herself. I have also bought a lavish sea facing apartment in Versova, Mumbai for my children. Aaliya was made the co- owner of the said apartment as my kids are small. I have given my children an apartment in Dubai, where she was also living comfortably.
